Neighborhood History

The nearby Robinson Theater was named for Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, a Richmond native who grew up to become "the toast of Broadway," celebrated as the World's Greatest Tap Dancer. The theater became a cornerstone of Church Hill's thriving Black community.

WTFLT is not the Fall Line Trail. WTFLT is a separate local activation, while the Fall Line Trail is regional trail infrastructure spanning seven localities. WTFLT openly supports and endorses the Fall Line Trail as a key long-term opportunity for healthy transportation and recreation.
