Exercise Demo

Mountain Climbers engage the full body with a strong core and steady pace. Keep your shoulders stacked over your wrists and pull each knee forward without bouncing your hips. Short intervals with clean form are better than long sets with rushed posture.

Location

Sign 2 is located at 2700 Nine Mile Road in Richmond's East End, a major route that connects residents to services and daily activity. The Nine Mile corridor has been a focus of recent revitalization efforts aimed at improving walkability, street safety, and public spaces.

Neighborhood History

Nine Mile Road's name comes from its distance between Richmond and the Seven Pines area. In the late 1800s, streetcar lines helped turn this corridor into one of the East End's early transportation routes, connecting people to jobs, housing, and services.

Fall Line Trail Connection

WTFLT is not the Fall Line Trail. WTFLT is a separate sign-based fitness activation, while the Fall Line Trail is the larger regional trail infrastructure. WTFLT strongly endorses the Fall Line Trail and encourages residents to use it for longer walking, biking, and recreation beyond local workout stops.
